Delfouneso To Blackpool On Loan

According to an article comment tonight from AVbornandbred, Nathan Delfouneso has joined Blackpool on loan.

The deal has been confirmed by SSN, but as of yet there is nothing from either club.

As seems a pattern tonight, will update when more details come out.

But to be fair it's not an unexpected piece of news is it, with the arrival of Bowery it had to in place of Delboy who realy needs to make his mark whilst on loan.

Nathan Delfouneso Profile.

Confirmed by Blackpool.

now their is a team and manager that will hopefully sort delboy out! Good luck!

Cheers for the double confirmation Davey. Hopefully with regular games he'll show he can give more than a clinical finish from the box, that's the only reason Weimann is ahead of him, because he can offer a presence. It's the one thing Delboy has lacked, but clinical finishing nobody can doubt him on. Good luck to the lad for me.

I will say that, although he hasn't really taken the opportunities given to him, he has never had a sustained run anywhere. Even his loan spells have been for about a month. So a full-season loan is just what he needs, albeit probably for him to go somewhere else.

Good move for Del and Blackpool

Good luck Del. Now we don't have t worry about you making it. Go away and do it. If you come back I hope it is as a great striker, otherwise you will succeed at your level. I Really have no time for sentiment!!! And Bannan can follow also.

Pity they didn't buy him........

This can only be a good thing

Hope he does well....having lived in Blackpool there aren't many distractions up there now....not how it was when I was a lad blah blah blah. Seriously though this lad needs to pull his finger out and show the talent he obviuosly posses on a consistent basis, hopefully Blackpool can give him that opportunity. after all I would not describe him as in the " kid with potential" bracket anymore

Last we will see of del boy I think, could see a permanent move next summer to either a championship side or of he is lucky, a newly promoted premier league side. PL's decision to get Bowery in looks shrewd, he gives us more variety than del boy did. Dare I say our strike force is starting to look solid?.... (though still a little on the young side)
AHAVFC
Yeah, he should be pushing for a starting role at this stage, not getting loaned out to lower league teams. His time is up. See ya!
Lee282
Last we may see could well be true. But he has the talent, just needs confidence in himself, and from those around him. If things fall into place he could come back a whole different player. Holloway is THE MAN to do it, but The Fonz will have to earn his opportunities. With the right attitude he will have a fun time at B pool in a fun set-up with fun football. The training facilities might come as a shock though - hope Barry B has warned him! It will certainly encourage me to go and check him out down at Bloomfield Road providing it doesn't clash with Villa games- but I've got two doorstep league clubs to choose from now - so the mighty Cods v Aldershot is today's game for me.

Good move, we've brought in the Chesterfield lad with an equal record albeit at a lower level as fonz, so fonz is obv not in the plans, so give him a season of experience and then either see he is good enough or allow him to move on to progress his career.
The Fear
The Fonz has blow it at Villa. Just not tough enough or mentally driven to make the most of his natural ability. All very tidy without any threat whatsoever. I hope he turns it round.
Villa_Grizzly
As stated, this is surely make-or-break for the Fonzmeister General. Let's hope Kevin Phillips puts an arm round the shoulder and shows him how it's done.
