The official site has gone all secretive and teasy as the window draws to a close.

I'm not even sure if this qualifies as a statement, but the OS reads:

'Villa can confirm transfer news coming soon.'

So with my mildly educated mind, I'm assuming that we are due confirmation that Christian Benteke and Ashley Westwood have both joined...or is there something more left field than that which has been missed?

so now we've signed a centre half, 2 full backs, 2 central midfield players and 2 strikers along with the winger and full back lined up by Mcleish (including 4 full internationals) are people finally going to stop moaning? not saying it will work out (i'm seriously worried about this season) but I wish more folks would look on the bright side.
