Benteke Travelling For Medical?

Sky Sports are reporting that Christian Benteke is travelling to sunny Birmingham at this moment in time for a medical after a fee has been agreed for his services.

Following all the earlier tweets that JF covered about movement from Genk's side, it's now believe a fee of £6.5m has been reached for the 21 year old striker who has apparently been likened to a young Drogba (I've never heard of him personally).

They say he's on his way over for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

God let this be so... we are so thin at the moment, any injury to Bent and we're beef hooked! What happened to the billion dollars RL got from selling the Browns??? Invest or sell Lerner for the good of this club!

Metalvillian what happened to it is he does have a life as well and his ex wife probably wants a chunk of it in the divorce settlement. It's not our business. Sell to whom? No thanks. i am happy with RL. Yes he has made mistakes but it has cost him. I am getting sick of people running RL down. Yes it is your entitlement however it is also my entitlement to throw a few facts in of support

Fair point kefkat. Don't agree with you but people are going to question Randy and there's always going to be some who defend him. No point in falling out as we all want Villa playing decent football.

kefkat, Randy's divorce settlement was in the region of £25 mill, months ago, iirc. As for selling the Browns, that money belongs to the trust, not Randy.

agree with kefkat. Lambert seems to know what he is doing. This is a long term plan and i like the look of what is happening. RL is backing lambert. what more can we ask.
