Bowery On Move To Massive Club

Jordan Bowery has spoken of his delight at gaining a move to Aston Villa.

Following all the speculation, the 21 year old striker joined on a 3 year deal earlier today, and said to the Official Site after completing the paperwork:

'This is a Premier League club with so much history, a massive club, and I'm really excited. He (Lambert) talked about wanting to bring in young, raw, hungry talent, players who want to improve here and want to get to this level and stay at this level. I think that's what he's looked at in me. Now I want to learn off the guys who have played in the Premier League. Gabby, Darren, Nathan and Andreas I can learn a lot from.'

Must be in shock, bet he didn't see this one coming! Good luck to the lad.

Got a funny feelinghe will do well, we havent had a young target man on our books for some time and he will go out of his way to try and impress.

Yes, welcome as a young raw kid who has come to improve and hopefully will make the grade, eventually. But then I read he might play on Sunday. Surely that can't be right?

I hope the lad plays well for us. I'm unsure of signing players from lower leagues.....

Yes welcome indeed. I'm sure he'll do well as PL will play to his strengths and he'll have a defined role and duties (unlike Eck's kick it forward and cross fingers.) Not sure about learning off the others though. Goal hanging from Bent, sprinting from Gabby and Wiemann can't have anything to pass on yet!!

Music to my ears :)

Welcome JB, looking forward to seeing him in action.
