Everton Man Of The Match - Cough

Everton Man Of The Match - Cough

Our man of the match poll for the Everton game.

Everton MotM
Poll Date: 25 Aug 2012
Suggested By: I Want Some Chips - MF

I Like Bunnies 47%

Baker 26%

El Ahmadi 14%

Vlaar 11%

Holman 1%

Lowton 1%

Think that is right, Baker put in a shift. Think MF was right to leave most out option wise. Not totally sure of the bunnies one but I guess they would be more pleasant to look at than Villa being humiliated!

Think you guys watched a different game to me - Baker was lethargic, out of position and out of sorts in the first half - slightly better after the sending off as he was back in his natural position - but motm - no way

Have to say I agree Mat777. Not that I blame Baker as he was not playing in his favoured position, but he was clearly out of position on several occassions and didnt get anywhere near his winger or Jelavic when he drifted wide which he did quite a bt first half. i think the kid has potential at centre half which he showed when Clark went off but not at left back. Thought El Ahmadi looked very good and think he will do well for us but I have to say i'm surprised Lowton barely got a mention here, I think the guy looks like he could be a real star and thought he did great on saturday. Best full back we've had for a long time IMO

How interesting opinions are. I thought Baker as without himI feel we ould have let in 3 more goals. People say about Lowton but the 2 legit goals both came through him ad in anyones eyes Given had to save the 2nd one!! I thought Baker looked awesome at CB with Vlaar and they would be my pref pairing now! I said to my old man at he game Baker at LB was like Cuellar being back, the other team give him all the space in the world as they know they cant hurt you... I would like to see Delph or Lichaj thereuntil wsign someone
