KEA - We Have To Show Character

Karim El Ahmadi is looking for us to kick start our season in the Cup against Tranmere tomorrow after a disappointing start to the league campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, El Ahmadi said it was time the team stood up to be counted, and showed some character to help get us back on track.

'We have to prepare quick because on Tuesday we have another game and we have to win. We have to show some character. We are professionals and we have to stand up. Everybody is disappointed about Everton because in the first half we didn't play good, Everton were good but we can also say to ourselves that we weren't sharp.'

Some refreshing honesty coming from KEA following the game there, but only one way to put it right and that's on the pitch, not via interviews.
