'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lambert Doesn't Like Them Apples

Paul Lambert has confirmed that he has banned phones, iPads and laptops from Bodymoor Heath as he wants the players to focus on their jobs.

'If you are a professional footballer, then it's not your hobby, it's your job. You are at the training ground to work. If you train the way you play, then I don't have a problem, but iPhones and iPads are a distraction. I'm here to win football matches not to play on a phone or computer.'

Quote Daily Mail.

Lambert also told the Official Site (link is the full text of his press conference):

'My own phone doesn't work, so if mine doesn't no one elses does.'

Makes perfect sense to me, although do you think maybe he's covering himself because he doesn't know how to use the phone in question? I know I struggle with mine!

Similar phones are available also folks in the interests of balance.
