Villa v Everton - Lets Get 1st Home Game Sell Out?

Lambert, speaking passionately at the fans forum, said: 'I need the crowd. I have always said that the most important people at any club are the fans and the players.

'If I can get them bouncing off each other, it will take off.

'You'll raise the roof with the noise. That's what I have to get, first and foremost.'

Heed the advice of the gaffer and sing your hearts out for the lads on Saturday.

A brilliant 4-for-£44 ticket deal is available for the match - that's two adults and two child tickets for £44 in the North Stand Lower.

Standard ticket prices range from £23 to £42 for adults, £22 to £40 for concessions, £15 to £40 for U16s, £10 to £40 for U8s and £33 to £38 for an adult-junior combo ticket.

Can't wait to be back. Feels like a lifetime since we were there with a positive buzz about the place.

You can say that again Adam. However with Villa fans you just never know what you are going to get. We have a new manager that most fans would have chosen. We have new players. We are blessed with lots of lads through our own youth system. Prices are good in comparison to some. It is a first home game of the season, on a Bank Holiday weekend, it's a 3 o'clock kick off and not live on the TV. There will be a full allocation of 3000 away fans. Everything is perfectly set for a full house. But it really wouldn't surprise me if there were 6/7000 empty seats. I so hope I am wrong, but we will see on Saturday.
