The PR at Villa is the best in the Premier League. If PR were a sporting competition we would be the dogs. We talk perhaps the best game in the league., with out doubt. In terms of actual games, however, we are currently not very good at all.

Whatever happans who we do or do not and how this sason pans out Lambert is the man to r-buid this club bak up, there is much more work to be done here than some realise, the whole squad is in deperate need of a overhaul we are relying to much emphasis on ouroungsters to prop the squad up or bring on as a sub to try and change a game when really not enough of our youngsters are good enough to do so yet or if ever they will be able too, Lambert needs at least 2 / 3 yeas here to do something of note, this squad is so bland and poor quality itprobably the worst ive seen inthe prem or up there with them

According to the Sun (prophet of truth and virtue etc.) Bent only touched the ball 3 F****** times. Is that true?? Can't see why they'd bother bull*****ting about it but if that's the case, the man has got wzay too big for his boots. Captain only touchess the ball 3 times!!!!! Unheard of.. Me thinks that PL is being forced to play him even though he is a passenger. I know that I should stop grinding my axe and I'd hate to be provexd right but enough is enough for a passenger who isn't a team player, sporting the Captain's armband whilst waiting for a golden chance that most would score whilst making out that he's the only one that can tap in!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

he headed the ball clear from our own box at least twice to my count so no its not true, honestly mate if you can't get to the games try watching the highlights on sky or BBC rather than relying on the gutter press. Even the limited coverage offered would allow you see through stats like that one.

Villain444 I can't even remember that many touches by Bent! If there was a good thing to come out of west ham its the fact it showed Lambert how short we are in depth and how bad we need signings

No, Bent touched the ball more (I was there) and he worked hard trying to get in the right positions, trouble is he got no supply and not one chance. Certainly not his fault at all.

its gonna take a couple of seasons to get our club back up... We've gotta keep grounded as fans, yes I'd love us to win the premiership, qualify for champions league, win the FA and League cup finals etc... but that isn't gonna happen (if ever) next season... slowly slowly catchee monkey...

Proves my point Fear!! He's so ineffective in a team that plays proper football and more than 1 formation. Bent is useless in all formations bar 1. "Tried to get in the right positions" means that he was goalhanging mate ;-D. It would be nice to be able to do nothing all game apart from take the glory from everyone else's hard work by getting the final solitary touch whilst wearing the captain's armband. I'm even winding myself up now!!!
