Holman May Miss West Ham

As many will know from last night, Brett Holman limped off in the Australia match with an ankle issue. It's not thought to be serious but he may miss our season opener.

Samir Carruthers is also a doubt after missing out on the Republic's U21 match against Turkey with an ankle injury also.

There no official word from the club on either player, but you'd imagine they'd be back at Bodymoor tomorrow at the latest, so we should know more then.

joy, why didn't we just claim that all our players were injured or ill or something to avoid this happening.

Is anyone else concerned about the lack of signings in the attacking department- oh and the defensive?

Savage does talk crap (going on about role models for gods sake!) But maybe he does have a point??? All depends on how solid Vlaar and El-Ahmadi are for me...

Who cares what "savage says" but to be fair he knows a lot about poor teams as anyone with him in it was one. Is it because that ball hit you in the face at villa park. Do your shirt up and do one!

We have got an average team full of kids and bargain buys but PL delivered with the same at Norwich. Hated Savage from his days at Leicester. They were always our bogey team when we should've beaten them regular. He's said this for a reaction as the rest of his comments are as boring as shearer.

@ leelindsay yes mate, I think we are light, still hoping for 2-3 more signings.

lol at Savage funny how we arent liked by tx pundits with old axes to grind : Savage ex small heath became a bigger joke the longer his career went on. Liniker has never forgiven us for nicking Brian Little from his beloved Leicester City so basically ignores us on MOD. Shearer has not forgiven us for relegating Newcastle while he was in charge only Hanson ,Lawro & Dixon give us a fair crack of the whip.
