Holman Hopes For West Ham Start

Holman Hopes For West Ham Start

Brett Holman has said he hops he has done enough to impress

Paul Lambert into giving him a starting berth against West Ham on Saturday.

Speaking to the Official Site Holman said his attacking style of play should reward Villa with plenty of plusses this season as we look to attack rather than defend in games.

'The non stop, go-go-go sort of approach has been a positive thing for me. I try to do that sort of stuff, and hopefully that can be a big part of my role in the Premier League. Obviously the main aim is to score goals and we've got some quality players who can play some really good attacking football. So far so good, there's been no injuries for me which has been positive and I feel really fit.'

Holman has certainly impressed the fans with his showings in pre season, so hopefully he can take through to the league campaign and use his experience to give us a big lift going forward.

I like the look of Bret the Hitman Holman i must say, goals from midfield is what we have been lacking for years now, and he offers good creative play and good work rate in games, im sure he will be a.part of our midfield on saturday
