European Nights At Villa Park
Michael Drennan has said he is relishing another European campaign under the lights at Villa Park, and he's hopeful our lads will go further in this terms NextGen Series.
Speaking to the Official Site ahead of Wednesday's kick off, Drennan is hoping his pre season form (5 goals) will carry over into the tournament, and as Villa have been drawn against Celtic, that game in particular will be a stand out one for him being a fan of the Scottish club.
I'd also imagine he'd relish another crack at Marseille further down the line as well!
'I'm really looking forward to it, I've got this year and hopefully next in this tournament and Sporting Lisbon are a very good team and they will be a good test. It's on our home ground so hopefully we'll get a good crowd and a good win. We want to get further than we did last year.'
