Villa Fans Say A New Striker Is Needed!

Villa Fans Say A New Striker Is Needed!

Vital Villa have asked a few polls recently.... which is nice! (copyright the Fast Show)

With Vlaar also now signed, where else do we need to strengthen?

Poll Date: 27 Jul 2012
Suggested By: JP Fear

Strikers 73%

More defenders 12%
Wingers 9%
Goalkeeper 3%
Midfielders 2%
No idea! 1%

Agreed! I`d love to see another top line striker coming in. Or do we hope that Nathan Delfouneso and / or Andreas Weimann are ready to step up? For me both still have time to develop, do we use them totally now or take the pressure off with another addition?

Also looks like we are after one more defender. See: Another Defender Wanted By Lambert - But Who?

We also asked:

Do Villa Need Another Striker?

Poll Date: 23 Jul 2012
Suggested By: JP Fear

That`ll be a big yes then!?

Yes, injuries leave us short 93%

No, the 'kids' are sufficient cover 6%

Unsure and get splinters sitting on fence 1%

Striker links so far this summer:

Andy Carroll from Liverpool: Lambert Admits He'd Like England Striker
Andy Caroll not available on loan: Ooh Ahh Ron Vlaar?! + Andy Carroll Update
NO To Owen. NO To Carroll. Bye Bye Collins!

Newcastle`s Danny Simpson: Click Here James Nursey on twitter: ‏@JamesNursey other #AVFC goss, is forget any chat of Villa signing Danny Simpson from #NUFC. It's rubbish. Lowton will be Villa's right back

23-year-old Senegal striker Ibrahima Balde: Click Here

Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez: Click Here

Michael Owen: The Obligatory Annual Michael Owen To Villa Link! Lambert has said no: NO To Owen. NO To Carroll. Bye Bye Collins!

Bordeaux striker Yoan Gouffran: Russian Striker Linked Again + Bordeaux Striker!

And I`ve run out of inspiration for polls at the moment, so the latest one asks you meh or blah. You see, you can always rely on Vital Villa to be serious and professional!

You don't need to be a brain surgeon to realise a quality striker is urgently needed. Fonz isn't up to it IMHO, Weimann is work in progress and Sicknote.... sorry Gabby, only performs up to Xmas if you're lucky............
