Makoun Still Suffering Work Permit Issues

Aston Villa have confirmed tonight that Jean II Makoun has been allocated the No 17 shirt, but that he is still suffering work permit problems following his loan spell last season.

The brief statement was made on the clubs' Twitter feed (you know I'm slowly getting the hang of that place!).

'Responding to fans queries, Jean II Makoun is No 17. Waiting for work permit issues to be cleared up.'

Probably won't stop the conspiracies, but there you have it.

Reading between the lines, and don't quote me on this, but I think he works for the secret service and is actually known as 008. Call it conspiracy if you want, some of the blogs seem to get away with such things! ;o). I am led to believe once his mission is accomplished, he will join the squad.

Really? I thought he was Spartacus.

If he's Jean II Makoun does that mean secret agent Jean I Makoun failed his mission?..

Jean I Makoun was the original, a standard specified homo sapien. Jean II Makoun is the super improved clone, built specifically by the the Cameroon Special Services, but he's escaped and chosen a life of football, but the Cameroonian's are preventing his work permit as its feared his history might be delved into.

I was beginning to think he was the modern day "The Prisoner"..... I'm a name, not a number..... (for any off you old enough to remember) Lol
Pride of Lions
Pride: prisoner was re-imagined recently and quite good too. So we can all remember and refer to the new one whilst pretending to be young as a bonus. The film Passenger 57 was actually based on Cameroons Secret Service trying to stop Jean I Makoun the original from escaping to the UK to raise his son. His son being Jean II. Now fully trained, he is on the run as a footballer earning a fortune, and if you can contract him, maybe you can hire the J Team!!!!

joking aside, this should have been sorted by now.
