Couple Of On The Tweet Transfer Rumours For Villa

Couple Of On The Tweet Transfer Rumours For Villa

Just a couple of new snippets I`ve noticed from our transfer forum thread: www.astonvilla.vitalfootball.co.uk

Here's a new one excuse the poor grammar it's from Twitter.......EdwardVanCuilenborg @ Feyenoord Channel
# Guidetti was spotted in Birmingham. Immediately there is a rumor that he, like # Vlaar and El # Ahmadi , Villa player is.

And also apparently 'Defoe to Villa rumours abound on twitter at the moment.`

Not seen anything on Defoe. Must admit, if he was the right price and right wages, I`d take him, he knows where the back of the net is.

As for Guidetti. Wiki says:

John Alberto Guidetti (Italian pronunciation: [ɡwiˈdetti]) (born 15 April 1992) is a Swedish footballer who plays for Manchester City as a striker.

Ronald Koeman, who worked with Guidetti at Feyenoord and with Zlatan Ibrahimović at Ajax, said that Guidetti can be as good as Ibrahimović in the future.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Guidetti

Remember, these are just rumours!

Guiedetti is a real prospect it would be a coup if we got him, as for Defoe yep i would also take him, he has had injuries but a goalscorer for £5million if rumours have any truth to them would be a bargain, Defoe/Guiedetti Bent, Gabby, Weimannan Delfounseo goals there, would just need a left back another central midfielder and an attacking winger or creative player then we would mean buisness and push aside Newcastle for the top 7 plaices alright ;) UTV!

Defoe leaving would leave Spurs with no strikers, his wages are too high for Villa and he didnt work with Bent at spurs so why would he now? I think its jusr a bit of gossip thats picked up momentum with Twitter. I have learnt its not a grat place to follow as plenty of chat but not much is genuiune ITK. Gary Hooper also mentioned on there a lot for Villa!

I think Defoe would only want to go to a London team if he were to go at all.

Defoe won't happen as clearly doesn't fit the PL mould of non-travelling overhyped players. He wants better. I checked on transfermarkt.co.uk - correct spelling - and the boy Guidetti has fine early stats but Man City have not developed him and he may not be what we need NOW. FUnny thing is, AVFC are a better prospect for players now without having played one game in the new season - just down to the vibe PL has injected without signing overpaid NAMES. Bring me Cresswell and a surprise please.

I also wanted Defoe 5 years ago or Bent. We got Bent so we don't need Defoe , a nice big striker like Carroll or even Fletcher would do for me
