Brad Guzan 100% NOT Sent Out On Loan

Brad Guzan 100% NOT Sent Out On Loan

Reports in the States are totally and utterly wide of the mark.

Brad Guzan has not joined Chivas on loan.

Brad, who as you know has re-signed for Aston Villa under Paul Lambert is going nowhere other than Villa Park.

I`ve just spoken to someone at the Club. He said they are totally mystified where this story started and why. He re-signed at Villa as competition for Shay Given. He`d not make very good competition if he was in the States.

So, no matter what you read or hear, this is a total non story, totally not true, from the horses mouth, Brad will start the new season with Villa and is a member of our squad!

Wish I could see the link again, unless it's been removed now, as said originally it only made sense if Lambert didn't feel Guzan was ready yet and wanted him to get more game time, but as said there are Championship clubs that would benefit him better?

Amzing how these stories build up from nothing. A case of lazy journalism again?
