Reproduced with kind permission from Joseph Gallivan, originally posted: www.portlandtimbers.com... "I grew up a mile from Villa Park. Age five I remember hearing from my backyard the roar of the Holte End when a goal went in, and the songs of 10,000 throats in a crowd of 40,000. We signed off earlier this morning with a 5-4 victory over Portland Timbers taking a 100% record with us from the States, and Paul Lambert said he was proud of the team for their efforts. Speaking to the Official Site Lambert said he did have issues with our overall performance against Timbers, but on balance he was very pleased with the application of the players whilst on tour: Lambert Proud Of US Tour Efforts

I`ll be straight up and honest - I don`t know much about the players we saw at Worcester on Tuesday night.
