Aaron Cresswell Wanted By Lambert?

Aaron Cresswell Wanted By Lambert?

It's being reported by Sky Sports that Villa are interested in 22 year old Aaron Cresswell.

The Ipswich defender impressed many last season making 46 appearances in all competitions, and being named their Player of the Year. He remains under contract until 2015.

It's believed we are interested in doing a deal for around £3.5m, but it's suggested Ipswich will be holding out for a fee in the region of £6m.

Some are saying no bid has yet been made, whereas others are saying that indications are Lambert would like the deal wrapped up within the next 24 hours?

Get him in. Can't be any worse than Warnock. In fact I think I'd give Warnock a run for his money.
