Fieldy: Gabby Agbonlahor will undergo a scan on Monday after sustaining an injury to his knee in the game against Chicago Fire. It is hoped the injury isn't as bad as first suspected, but you'd imagine the scan is precautionary to make sure nothing has been missed. Hopefully early Monday he'll be given the all clear, and the initial suggestion of two weeks out will prove to be correct. Be a big shame if it's not.

Stats: Chicago Fire 0 - Aston Villa 1

The latest in this scandal is Stephen Ireland who told Paul Brown at www.avfc.co.uk he can`t wait for the new season and he can visibly see the difference in the other players attitudes as well. Paul Brown: Villa have been hailed as 'excellent ambassadors' for Birmingham after waving an emotional goodbye to Chicago. Paul Lambert's men ended a terrific three-day adventure in the Windy City on Sunday after flying out to Portland. Wow... Mat Kendrick: A Great Barr couple have jetted out for every leg of the trip - even though June is suffering from kidney failure and spends EIGHT hours on dialysis in her hotel room every day. Tom, 57, is a Villa fanatic who watches his beloved claret and blues all over the world - and June, 54, gets so much pleasure from Tom`s enjoyment she comes along for the ride, too.
