Darren Bent Aiming For Forest Return

Just a snippet but Darren Bent has told The Official Site he has picked up a thigh strain and that it isn`t too bad an injury. He suspects he picked it up because he`d been out so long injured.

bent

'I probably got it because I haven't really done anything for four months. It's just been good to be back amongst it after my time out injured at the end of the season. In the first session in pre-season I was absolutely buzzing. It'd been a while and I was just delighted to be out there with the boys."

He says he isn`t worried about the strain and that his major injury, the ankle, is now 100%

He is hoping to be back in time for the Nottingham Forest friendly.

Can certainly believe he over did it slightly as if his Burton performance was matched in the Phili game, then I've never seen Darren Bent work the channels and run so much before. Was a delight to see.
