Gabby To Undergo Scan

Gabby Agbonlahor will undergo a scan on Monday after sustaining an injury to his knee in the game against Chicago Fire.

It is hoped the injury isn't as bad as first suspected, but you'd imagine the scan is precautionary to make sure nothing has been missed. Hopefully early Monday he'll be given the all clear, and the initial suggestion of two weeks out will prove to be correct.

Be a big shame if it's not.

Watched AVTV..Gabby looked very sharp and dangerous b4 injury.. Hope it doesn't mess up his close seaason..Stephen Ireland looked excellent again..Worked hard, and superbly weighted quick pass to Chris Herd to provide cross for Gabby's goal..He seems to 'see the picture' very early and plays great little passes without appearing to 'look'

Ireland will have a huge season. Gabby will too BUT only if he stays fit, why is hd so injury prone?? Seems like ever since he bulked up that he always gets problems, maybe Houllier was right on that

Hope Gabby gets fit again soon, did't see the match but everbody who did saying he looked good even Lambert i today's Sun paper saying he looked sharp and quick, this is why i hoped we did not sell him, Gabby on fire is at least a £15/20million player on our books and he cares for the club, Ireland will luv playing under a manager like Lambert he will giv himliscence to attck and create not defend all the while, things are looking up my fellow Villans UTV!

Pleased it's not so bad as though for Gabby... 2 weeks an all should be well. And yes, Ireland is getting better and better. If he steers clear of injuries he could have an awesome season.
