Bent Misses Tonight's Game

Bent Misses Tonight's Game

Mat Kendrick has tweeted that Darren Bent has undergone a scan on his thigh tonight, so it's highly likely he will figure no part in the game against Chicago.

'Darren Bent not been able to attend event because he is having a scan on his thigh, most likely ruling him out tonight's match.'

Since then Mat has tweeted that Benty has turned up for the signing event, but you'd still be surprised to see him even on the bench.

Even if the thigh issue isn't serious, there's certainly no need to risk it for a friendly. Another good chance for Nathan Delfouneso or Andreas Weimann then, as you'd assume Gabby Agbonlahor will start.

Just talked to Darren at meet and greet in Chicago. He says his leg is just sore and not a major problem. Hope all is well. UTV tonight vs the Fire!!!

Yeah its only a pre-season so I'm happy he's not even on the bench

Thanks for that Texas, but if there is any doubt, I'd not play him - with all due respect, it's only a friendly.
