Boldmere Treated To Our Next Generation

Boldmere Treated To Our Next Generation

Ahhh this is the part of pre season I enjoy, the first reserve friendly of the campaign where new faces and names are given their first run out...which one will be the star of the future?

As JF covered earlier, we face Boldmere St Michaels at 7.30pm at their Trevor Brown Memorial Ground, and whilst we are taking a strong squad of youngsters, there are a few names fans might want to look out for as the second string progress.

Villa Squad:

Calum Barrett, Craig Hill, Joshua Webb, Courtney Cameron, Charlie Ward, Daniel Devine, Janoi Donacien, Josh Barton, Jack Grealish, Michael Drennan, Graham Burke, Malcolm Melvin, Bradley Lewis, Mason Watkins-Clark, Lewis Kinsella, Oliver Stevenson, Riccardo Calder, Danny Williams, Michael Nelson, Umit Eminoglu.

I'm sure a couple of those in bold were involved last season as the names sound familiar, but they were certainly not regulars and you'd imagine this is the campaign they will step up.

Nice to welcome Daniel Devine back properly after injury as well, as he has ground to make up, and some notable omissions such as Derek Williams but obviously unsure if he's carrying a knock.
