'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lowton Aiming High

Matthew Lowton has said he is looking to follow in the footsteps of his mate Kyle Walker as he beds into life at Bodymoor Heath.

Speaking to the Official Site after a good night's kip following his move into football's top flight, Lowton said he hoped he could follow in the footsteps and be as big a hit as Kyle Walker was when he joined us on loan from Spurs, and moreover that it would be a case of third time extra lucky giving the right backs Sheffield United have produced in recent years.

'They have produced some fantastic players over the years, look at the two Kyles. They both came through the Academy as I did and playing in the same teams as me when I was younger so hopefully I can follow in their footsteps.'

Lowton added that he would soon be ringing Walker to find out more about his experiences at Villa Park and his favourite non matchday haunts...I'm sure he'll fit right in with our youngsters!

Hope it's suggested that he keeps well away from some of the "haunts" some of the squad seem to visit.... or is that just after official "do's". Whatever he does, don't ask Bannan either...Lol

******** Hell, that must have been a boring team. 3 Right Backs on the field at the same time. Eck's drooling at the mouth.
