How Many Players Will LEAVE Villa & Who?

Vital Villa asked....

How many players will Villa sign? (not including Holman)
Poll Date: 30 Jun 2012
Suggested By: JP Fear

5 or more 48%
4 28%
3 12%
Do I look like mystic mug? 7%
2 more 5%

We`ve already had two, so looks like those being optimistic with 4 or 5 might end up right!

Ok, so our latest poll asks How many players will leave.

Who do you think should or will go?

Mak, Hut, Warnock, Delfo will all go if you ask me.
koolbill
I hope you're right about Warnock Koolbill...he's worse than Hutton in my opinion.
MASON_PARKER
Warnock is awful but has a lot of heart. I think we'll sign five overall MASON. looks like midfield will cover for our two slow CBs though. We'll buy one more defender, a free striker and a surprise arrival. All before the last minute of deadline day. It feels so good to have a normal transfer window again.
koolbill
I wouldn get rid of Makoun and id be disappointed to see him leave also... I wouldn sell a champions league standard player after coming out of a relegation scrap...
CDX_EIRE
Get rid of Collins, Warnock, Hutton and Delfouneso.
Lock
Agree with cdx on makoun, another experienced professional to help out our young squad.defence is the issue that needs drastic overhauling! Can't really judge the strikers, attacking midfielders after the style of play Mcleish forced on them last season, gabby struggled the most!
mickatkins21
I've gone for 1-3, being realistic, but I'd like to see more..... the back four from last season, plus The Fonz at least.
Pride of Lions
Just my opinion, but the Fonz has never had a real chance. He's never started more than 2 games on the bounce and if you look at his stats, he's scored 10 goals in 20 starts or something, but has appeared loads of times as a sub in the last 10 mins etc. I think he should be judged once he's had a proper run.
villaiain
You may be right VILLAIN - its a long shot tho - Burnley didn't rate his loan spell form at all. I think the entire back four will go after two seasons but all four in one go is too much...let's bed in and rotate but definitely get shot of Warnock and Hutton, while a better midfield playing as a unit will more than help to protect the deficiencies if Dunne and Collins - Dunne being the worse and should be heavily rotated. Anyone for a Gabi/cash deal for Victor Moses?
koolbill
I think Gabby should go too. He's ridden on the back of "He's Villa through and through" for far too long IMHO. If we get a decent offer in for one trick pony I'd let him go.
Pride of Lions
villaiain I hear what you are saying but don't think he will ever get an extended run in our side, so probably best he goes, a year loan could work
AdzVilla11
Good point Adz. Fonz is a striker but gets played on the wing or has a 10 min run up front. DB9 is virtually undroppable as he's the only one that can score, even though he does absolutely NOTHING else whatsoever and I'd get rid (considering the money we'd get)or have him as an impact sub
Villan444
Last seasons form probably not the best to judge players on but to play along I will risk getting a load of flak and get rid of - Makoun ( I saw a headless chicken who couldnt pass and couldnt tackle before he went on loan) Dunne, Hutton Ireland, Delph, Bannan & Fonz And in the last chance saloon I would put Collins on his off field antics, Gabby (much as it pains me) Albrighton,Warnock & Nzobia. Might seem tough to list so many but based on last season thats how I feel about the performances we saw.
