Two Players Linked IN To AVFC

Two Players Linked IN To AVFC

The Daily Mail link Villa, Liverpool, Fulham and Spurs with Swansea`s England youth international winger Scott Sinclair.

The 23-year-old has apparently stalled on contract talks with the Swans.

He is rated at £6million with just 14 months left on his current deal.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins issued an ultimatum.... which was nice!

He said: 'With Scott being a first-team regular we need a decision one way or the other as soon as possible so the manager can be clear in his mind on where the team goes and make sure the squad is right for August.'

avillafan found a nice gem from Twitter.

A Rennes fan site posted "French Midfielder Yacine Brahimi is about to join Aston Villa. He`s a Hatem Ben Arfa-like. It will probably be a loan for Yacine Brahimi to Aston Villa (I also got a text re: this and was told by the rumour mill that the loan would be with an option to buy)

Howdy Fear, I think Sinclair willend up at Liverpool reunited with his former manager Rodgers, as for this Bahrimi he looks a great prospect and he is only 22, he reminds me of Ash when we first signed him the way he used to attack players and beat them hope we get him.

Pretty sure I read that Rodgers had a clause preventing him signing any Swans for 12 months

The Scousers don't need Sinclair, they've have got the speedy, fearless Downing. Still failed to score all season (even missing a penalty on the last day lol)and had a pointless journey to Poland/Ukraine to get splinters on his backside and be nice and tired for the start of the season...

Downing took a step DOWN when he joined RedScouse. The glory days are gone and are never coming back.

Well said Villan444 Downing is a *****, I hope after this season he ends up at Blackburn or something because that what he deserves. Sinclair would be a great option for us and would fit our young and hungry squad, go get him PL

I heard the twitter whisper re Brahimi, but as there was not media talk, wouldn't post anything. Sinclair? - I doubt it.

What is the story on Makoun? is he going to feature for us? have not heard anything of late about him. I assume he will report back for training on Thursday with the rest of the players. COTVABU

i read somewhere that villa were open to offers for Makoun... Which seems a bit harsh really as the fella never had a chance.

If Brahimi is as good as Ben Arfa he'll be a class signing.
