Lambert To Get Backroom Staff In Next Few Days?

Only a snippet this really, but news is still SO quiet!

Mat Kendrick at The Birmingham Mail has a report saying that Paul Lambert WILL get his backroom team shortly.

It has been expected since the arrival of Lambert that Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa will follow and according to Mr K, that will happen in the 'next few days`.

As you know, Gordon Cowans has been retained, although his role at the moment isn`t clear. Lambert has also kept goalie coach Terry Gennoe and the fitness dude (official title) Adrian Lamb.

I`m assuming Tony McAndrew stays as well, certainly not seen anything reported to the contrary.

Few details:

Ian Culverhouse: www.canaries.co.uk and en.wikipedia.org.

Culverhouse has been with Lambert since Colchester United and also at Wycombe.

The Norwich official site says: Posts as youth team coach at Barnet and Leyton Orient followed before Culverhouse moved to Wycombe Wanderers in June 2005. After two years at Adams Park, Culverhouse had been promoted to the role of assistant manager and in October 2008 he followed Paul Lambert to Colchester United to continue as the Scotsman's right-hand man.

Gary Karsa: (www.canaries.co.uk) was head of football operations at Norwich. He worked previously with Lambert and Culverhouse at both Colchester United and Wycombe Wanderers. The official Norwich site say He held the position of football operations manager at The U's since he joined them from Adams Park in October 2008, where he'd been head of youth since September 2006. Karsa began his coaching career at Enfield in 1998 as football and community officer, before moving to Barnet where he first worked with Ian Culverhouse. After a spell as Charlton's Head of Academy he linked up with Culverhouse again at Leyton Orient as head of youth.

Tony McAndrew: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

Villa`s site says: Tony McAndrew is Villa's under-18 coach, who guided the U18s to the Barclays Premier Academy League Group B title last term and the 2010 FA Youth Cup final. He was also in charge when the club won the prestigious FA Youth Cup competition in 2002 and reached the final in 2006. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Terry Gennoe: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Gennoe and when he arrived: SHAY Given reckons Villa`s goalkeepers are in safe hands following the arrival of his "ultra professional" mentor Terry Gennoe.

Given was a teenager at Blackburn when he first started working with Gennoe and is delighted to be reunited with one of the best coaches he has ever had. Article: www.birminghammail.net
