Albrighton Looking To Make Up For Lost Season

Marc Albrighton is relishing the new season under Paul Lambert and he can't wait to get back to pre season training.

Speaking to the Official Site Albrighton said he was looking forward to working with Paul Lambert because of his love of the game and reputation as a motivator:

'We keep ourselves in shape, obviously, while we're away on holiday but there's nothing like coming back to Bodymoor and getting your fitness back. It knocks you a bit when you have your time off in the summer, you can relax but you're also looking forward to getting back. I have so much enthusiasm going into this campaign, I can't wait for the next week. I have heard nothing but superb reviews about the gaffer, I am looking forward to working with him. I have spoken to Baz who knows several of the guys who worked under him at Norwich and they have said how good he is and how lucky we are to have him.'

The Lambert love continues, and whilst most will know this is fluffy pre season stuff, it really does make such a nice change to hear players talking and sounding so positive after last season.

If that can translate onto the pitch, we can play some good stuff and really go for it in games in the coming season VP will genuinely be a happier place to visit.

good luck to him. He had a tough time off the pitch by all accounts last year, so here's hoping he can put it behind him and have a great season

Something was definitely going on, he is better than last season for sure! Hope it works out for him.
