Players Share Fans Optimism

Barry Bannan has said that the players share the positivity and optimism that has invaded fans since the appointment of Paul Lambert.

Speaking to the Official Site Bannan said he was personally very impressed with the new gaffer after meeting him at the kit launch and listening to him talk about his aims for the club, and he knows others are looking forward to pre season starting with some hope for a good campaign.

'There's a real positive vibe about the club and that's great to feel. I was meeting fans at the kit launch and you could really feel the positivity of everyone. That comes from having the new manager join. It's echoed by the players too, we're excited and we have a real buzz. We can't wait to get back and show the gaffer what we're all about. Hopefully he can come in and lift this club up and get us where we want to be.'

Bannan adds that he's spoken to a few mates he has in the Norwich squad following his Scottish exploits and Leeds experience, and they have nothing but good to say about the new gaffer, 'he's been brilliant and he plays the game the way it should be played.'

Now we look to back up the pre season positivity with a good training schedule, and then hopefully a solid start to the season proper and we'll all be flying.

But nothing on whether they glow in the dark or not? Disappointing!
