Ireland To Be Given Wings?

The Daily Mail have the only bit of transfer talk that I can see today.

They have repeated the link for Stephen Ireland to go to the New York Red Bulls (Thierry Henry`s team).

This was muted a while back, March to be exact see: Stephen Ireland to the New York Red Bulls: Click Here

They were also linked with Michael Ballack but with that move apparently breaking down and rumours that Paul Lambert would be prepared to sell Ireland for £4million, the move might be back on.

The Red Bulls manager said 'Ballack is not a player for us." and when asked about Ireland he said 'I don`t like to comment on things that don`t directly involve us, so I can`t comment anything on it.`

Nice little stadium there to be fair, I went summer before last, a mate of mine wanted to see his team play (Spurs) and Villabrownie and the gang all decided to go. I wanted to see Juan Pablo Angel. But he only came on as a sub and I was in the loos by then, reminded me of the old days when you were allowed beer at domestic English games!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not be best anecdote you`ll ever see to be fair but then again, you don`t pay for this service and beggars can`t be choosers! I could tell you about grabbing a mans poll on the underground train on the way home if you wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not sure if i even believe myself here but i have a feeling that ireland could really do well under lambert, wes hoolahan was for me a really impressive player under lambert and ireland has some similar characteristics but he is potentially a much greater talent. i cant help but remember some of his performance's at citeh when he was their player of the year, he was outstanding. im probably wrong and his wages off the books im sure would be a great help but he is a tease, great player when he wants to be.
