Gabby Agbonlahor knows the fans are buzzing after the appointment of Paul Lambert, and he says the players are aswell after listening to the new man in his press conference.
Speaking to the Official Site Gabby said he believed that exciting times were ahead under Paul Lambert and the style of play he will want to introduce:
'I think it's great - for the fans especially. They wanted Paul to come to the club and it's come true. This will put a smile on their faces and hopefully that can continue throughout the season. I think if you ask any fan they favour us playing attacking football, it creates a real buzz around the place. For the manager to be saying that we need to bring those things back, I think every fan can be excited.'
Addressing last season, Agbonlahor continued:
'The fans want to see us in that top half of the league and playing attacking football, maybe in some games it won't come off but they'll still be behind the team if we play the way they want us to play. We've had a couple of tough seasons, it was almost heartbreaking for us last term and I think a lot of the players will be coming back wanting to prove that we are a better side than we showed.'
The question is, who do we give the chance to do that to? Some of them clearly don't deserve it.

Look forward to seeing who Lambert decides to keep and who he pushes outward. Hope Gabby stays and fits into a more attacking team and hope whether they like each other or not, him and Bent find a way to compliment each other for the 90mins during a game (and I don't mean 'nice hair mate' compliments!)
Agree KciN because he is a Villa fan I think he gets much more leeway than others.
It was more his attitude for me villa 4 ever plus the sulky family tweets I was being updated about. If he can re-find the interest and his form and start to progress again, there will be no argument from me.
