'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Player Profile Section Launched

The Player Profile section featuring the playing details of our boys in claret and blue is now open for business.

To view the whole squad section, which is accessible from the Vital Villa Menu, please Click Here.

Witty ramblings for the players will be added in due course, along with further details where needed and they'll be updated at the end of every season to take into account the most recent campaign. We will also be adding historical legends - so feel free to list who you'd like to see added in the article comments below.

Many will go without saying like God, Mellberg, Laursen, Platt etc but I bet there are some historical greats that won't instantly come to my mind that folks would like to see.

Top work fieldy!
The fear
Especially now I've got the coding right so everything on the page isn't in bold PMSL

Maybe you#ll wish you'd waited to write the profiles if there are a lot of exits....
Gordonsleftboot
I demand that the profiles for: Hutton; Collins; Dunne; and Warnock are all removed forthwith.
V01
Saves having to the official site to look something up about a player.....Thanks Mike.
thomas holte
Very good work. Probably best that we can't leave comments on the profiles too.
Stephen Jay Hawkings
Means I can also 'sack' some of the players myself Gordon now lol

Thomas/anybody else, anything people would like to see added to the info, as said Murph is planning on writing up their VP careers in his enjoyable style, but is there anything people would like to know also in terms of playing details or does that cover it for you?

lol Jay, one for the Fear that methinks!
mike_field
I'm living in hope VO1! lol
mike_field
Good work again Mike. You are a star......... in the making...Lol
Pride of Lions
Don't tell him that Pride, he'll want paying!

Yes, wasn't sure re: comments but think that maybe they'd get a bit too much abuse for some maybe? Opinions welcome though! Maybe good to keep that bit professional! LOL
The Fear
oh and can't wait for some of those to go in the Ex-Players section!
The Fear
Thanks Mike. I did read an article some time back which included such intellectual but funny nuggets such as Dunne weighs 15st 10lb. This not only makes hime the heaviest player in the Premier League but is coincidentally the weight of baby elephant at birth, apparently.
Rowley Villa
He plays like on too :o lol
GibboVilla
A star in the making, you mean I've already imploded? lol

PMSL Rowley!!
mike_field
Will there be any stats on performances (ie running distances, shots, passes) on here during the season(s)?
VillaWillRiseAgain
Good work, btw!
VillaWillRiseAgain
not sure villawillriseagain... takes a hell of a lot of work to keep updating and tabulating it all. Might feature the opta stats more though through the season as articles?
The Fear
Anything that indepth would have to be automated as I certainly couldn't be looking to update them after every single game sadly. As JF says, maybe something we can look at as a round up article every month or something like that though...depends how easy the stats are to access.
