Lambert To Move As Far Away From Fear As Possible!

Lambert To Move As Far Away From Fear As Possible!

Paul Lambert has told www.avfc.co.uk that he is wanting to change with tradition and swap the dugouts that the Villa staff and players sit in.

{sarcasm mode on} Now, he`ll have you believe this is because he wants to harness the power of the Holte End and all that, but we all know he is has been tipped off and is anti Fear! As some will know, I sit right by the dugout and bang the boarding's and give the managers invaluable, ahem, advice... So how does he thank me for this service? He distances himself!!!! {sarcasm mode off}

Gutted!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new Villa boss, explains

'The Holte End will be vital to us. That's the traditional area where you get the place rocking - and the rest of the stadium will bounce off that. Villa Park is tremendous. When I came here with Norwich early season the place was really vibrant. If you can get it going, it's undoubtedly one of the great places to play football. No question."

So are you a Holteender because if you are, did you take the last two seasons off or what? The North Standers beat you hands down and we got more banter from them (sitting in the middle you can obviously hear both sides!)

How about some new songs? How about some (as Wicked Messenger said in the forum thread: Click Here ) some wit?

Don`t let the manager down this season? Or he might want to move back to the other side when he gets fed up of hearing sh** on the city on auto repeat!

Go to the video about 90 seconds in and see how it`s done by the legend that is H: Video Of Last Night *Bells Are Ringing* (do you believe in the villa, when you`re smiling etc)

Lambert says the noise that Villa Park can generate when up for it is 'terrific`...

'It's an incredible football club, with the history and tradition it has. It has a fanbase that is huge and I will do my utmost to make it successful. We will give it everything we've got to get that crowd going." And music to the ears 'We want to play the right way too. We don't want to sit off and wait for teams to do something against us. We will try everything we can to get on the front foot. Hopefully the crowd will go with it."

Good move, I hide in the family area and dive down like I am on a special forces mission if I see anyone with a bald head and a top that is too small for them (only joking JF) A little step but a good PR move shows he is thinking about things.. role on pre-season.

A small but significant move. I expect Paul Lambert to make several small changes to things that individually do not seem that important, but put together will make massive changes. These are known as critical non essentials. Randolph and his team did this not long after joining. Things like moving away fans, banners around the ground, the huge flag, signage, moving the press area. All indivdually not essential, but together they make a huge difference. It also raises a couple of questions? After consulting with previous managers they are likely to have told him of the constant verbal pressure that is directed at the bench from that particular area of the ground from a group of long established fans. Is this move a way of quitening an area that has known to be very vocal in offering the manager their views? I think this is very possible. That area of the ground is known to be very verbal in moaning, but absolutely silent when it comes to vocal support for the team. Or is he just moving from the 'Fear'?

May be he just wanted to be closer to Brigada 1874 who from next season will be moving to block L8 from L1? That also is an excellent move. [Edited by J P Fear]

lol@benham and astonmilan.... My lawyers are onto this, we feel we have a case for constructive dismissal from my position of special loud mouthed advisor to the manager. I might now be forced to go rogue and advise the oppo managers!

Fear give the opposition managers the advice you gave the previous manager (can't remember his name). If he followed it then it must have been crap advice, because we were pants lol
