Unoial Villa News...

Former Villa keeper Mark Bosnich has been talking to the Birmingham Post about our new signing Brett Holman. Bossie wants 28-year-old Holman to slot in and be the missing link for our midfield. 'I was thinking about Brett recently when Alex McLeish was sacked and I hoped that he wouldn't be affected. I hope he is going to be okay now with the new manager coming in because he`s a really talented player.' Full article: Bosnich In Praise Of Villa's Incoming Socceroo!

KMitch asked in our forum about next seasons expectations, Saying: Since apparently my expectation of a midtable finish is 'unrealistic' and could be 'damaging' to the new manager and the club, I guess I want to see what you all are expecting next season. Base your considerations on the fact that we have a 30 million pound transfer budget. I'm not even putting in the option for top 4, as I doubt anyone in their right mind could see us up there next season.
