Which Of These Villa Players Would You KEEP?

So our last poll asked:

Which if any would you KEEP?
Poll Date: 01 Jun 2012
Suggested By: JP Fear

Looks like old Zoggy has a second chance at least!

Zoggy

Charles N'Zogbia 49%

Bannan Running

Barry Bannan 17%

The rest:

None, sell them all/most 13%
Stephen Warnock 6%
Richard Dunne 5%
Fabian Delph 5%
James Collins 2%
Nathan Delfouneso 2%
Alan Hutton 1%

Then we go to the forum poll which this time was actually a more effective way to ask as it has multiple vote options! Zoggy again came out top as the player you`d want to keep, Bannan again second.

Which of these players would you KEEP?

Charles N'Zogbia 136 Votes - [22.9%]
Barry Bannan 122 Votes - [20.54%]
Fabian Delph 102 Votes - [17.17%]
Richard Dunne 67 Votes - [11.28%]
Nathan Delfouneso 42 Votes - [7.07%]
Stephen Warnock 37 Votes - [6.23%]
James Collins 27 Votes - [4.55%]
Alan Hutton 16 Votes - [2.69%]

And we then got:

None, sell them all 20 Votes - [3.37%]
Happy to see most go 25 Votes - [4.21%]

Please can someone actually tell me why you would keep Barry Bannan, i just dont get it. Plus who was the idiot who clicked on Hutton. REASSESS YOUR LIFE !!!!

Why, because watch last season until Ireland stepped up to the plate and the whole squad went through him for attacking. He can spray it around and with a more mobile (as opposed to strikers with their backs to goal) would be lavished by the passes he spots. Most didn't work out because no bugger moved for them. Everytime we went forward it went through Bannan, because players know what he can do. Same as why it then started to go through Ireland instead when he found some form. The question is can you have an on form Bannan and Ireland as the creators in the same midfield or does it leave us too weak - even though both of them have started getting stuck in more now aswell.

You simply cannot judge whether players with potential will show it now or not under a new regime - but on that basis alone Bannan certainly should be retained and may flourish, and even players like the Fonz deserve a reassessment before any final decision is made. He may yet come good under new guidance and new ways of playing. As for experienced defenders who have failed to deliver - that is a different story!

can't judge any of the players on last season imho. Not the young players anyway, some of the seniors let us down badly and in my opinion, can feck right off!
