Unoial Villa News...

The Lions will roar.. Doing the Lambert walk. Oi? Well.. maybe: Doing The Lambert Walk?

Villa and Scotland midfielder Barry Bannan has not long since been on Sky Sports news. He told them IF Paul Lambert is the man, he thinks it will be good. Quotes: Bannan Backs Lambert Appointment

Villa are targeting a 'vibrant era' - and you can be part of it by snapping up your excellently-priced season ticket.... Article: www.avfc.co.uk

More on Lambert in the press, the one I think is right, Lambert has been the main target all along. Also interesting they say that Martinez was interested, looks like it was us who were cold (or colder) on him this time. I`d expect if Lambert hadn`t shown he was interested, he`d have had more of a shot. Whelan saying Villa wasn`t big enough for him, laughable really: Click Here

Darren Bent, who has waxed lyrical about Andi Weimann before, has said he was very impressed with how he ended the season and he thinks he's going to be serious competition next campaign. Full article: Bent Backs Andi For Success

2+2 = Grant Holt apparently: Click Here

Marc Albrighton believes that Gary Gardner has all the attributes to be our new Barry or Milner in the middle of the park. Speaking to the Official Site Albrighton said that with the experience and confidence gained from last campaign, Gardner should be well positioned to push on and develop further and reach the potential we all think he has to dominate the centre of midfield for years to come. Full article: Gardner Could Be Our New Barry

The John Wragg Express report, see: Lambert Deal Today Claim Press , mentions a potential mass clear out. So, our front page poll asks, which of these players, if any, would you keep? I`ve also set up a forum poll because in there you can do multiple votes, so to vote in there: Which of these players would you KEEP? The report says that Lerner wants the under achievers out and 'big changes are expected`. Great news and I`m sure Lambert is just the no nonsense sort to do this. article: A Mass Clearout Of Villa Players On The Cards?

The title says it all, poll results: Overwhelming Thumbs Up To Lambert From Villans
