Decent Interview On Lambert By Times Reporter

Decent Interview On Lambert By Times Reporter

Worth sharing this one I think.

The Midlands expert Peter Lansley from The Times discusses the Villans' move for Paul Lambert and its possible consequences: Talksport > Click Here

Think he has most of that bang on to be fair, although I still say the majority DID give Alex McLeish a chance, with his negative football he didn`t give himself a chance though.

Decent interview though.

Hotting up? Looks like it if press reports are right: Lambert Quits Over Villa Discussions?

Taken a fair bit of the positive stuff about Lambert including Journo bits and also his record at all clubs in management (see bottom, the win ratio is very very good)... all in one article, what more could you ask for...! Article: POSITIVE Talk About Paul Lambert & His Record

Villa and Scotland midfielder Barry Bannan has not long since been on Sky Sports news. He told them IF Paul Lambert is the man, he thinks it will be good. Quotes: Bannan Backs Lambert Appointment

Good interview that by Lansley, as soon as he said attacking football and don't be defensice as Villa manager and get VP rocking again i was like ''YES YO AM RIGHT M8'' lol, it will be interesting to see if Dunne and Collins both stay i can see Collins leaving whilst Dunne will see out his 1 year left on his contract IMO

Better than that idiot Mick “thedick” Dennis in the Grudian. Went on Talks**te and told everybody that Lambert WOULDN’T be going to Villa. Not his opinion, not what he was hoping for – just a pure statement of fact because he was ‘in the know’. Don’t look very ITK now, do you Mick/Dick?? Egg all other his face and also Spacehopper-head Brazil “so you heard it there folks, Villa look set to be rejected AGAIN”. Never underestimate the drawing power of the mighty Aston Villa! UTV, VTID, SOTC etc etc

Well it seems another cock up by Villa, I really don't feel excited at all, I watched Norwich and they were good at running around and tried harder than us but were at the end boring, I really don't understand the excitement , we are supposed to be a big club ! Instead we get an apprentice manager . I feel we will be no further on come the end of next season, then let's see what all the so called fans say about Lambert

andy I'll take you up on that, Lambert will be 5 billion times better than Eck..... No exaggeration with the 5 billion either
02/06/2012 03:07:00
Andy, that was strange. His win ratio is very good, he transformed a pretty poor club that were failing badly, promoted them to the Prem and did very well in their first season playing attractive football and incidental beating us resoundingly. I think he will give the Majority of Villa fans what we want!

sometimes it takes something really bad to happen to make something really good happen. mcleish was a prelude to the next era of success.
02/06/2012 10:02:00
andy i respect your opinion but i have to make a point here, Brian Little managed Tranmere Rovers before coming to us in 95/96 if my memory serves me right he certainly had no top flight experiance and didn't manager clubs for long yet he won us a league cup? Also how far have the experianced managers taken Villa, D'OL, GT, GH, AM? We needed a fresh new approach a new direction and to rebuild for the future, there is optimism back at Villa now and rightly so, we can't bankroll our way up the league but we can build for the future utilising our kids and adding a few decent players each season with a manager that has worked miricles on a small budget and transformed Norwich from bottom of League 1 into Premier League club, Lambert deserves this chance and im glad we are going for him im sick of these so called experianced managers, who else was there Curbishley? Bruce? Lets look forward to a manager who is renowned for getting the best out of players and playing some attcking football, whilst also he is praised for his tactical changes of formations during games, im happy and looking forward to supporting my Villa anyway with re-newed optimism and hope UTV!
