Hopefully Villa can get it done by the end of the day so we can all relax over the weekend, hopefully Lambert could off villa a well organised team with a few different systems for various occasions like he has this year for norwich. I for one would definitely nip back and try pry away a few of the norwich players Grant Holt in particular a fan of the big fella, and there are some good free agents about at the moment and some good players who could be cheap from the recent relegated sides. Good luck Lambert and welcome to villa park !! UTV VTID

As a manager Saunders first tasted success at Norwich City, guiding them to the Second Division title in 1972, which saw them promoted to the First Division for the first time in their history. Saunders steered Norwich City to survival in their first season in the top flight. Repeat please?

Yeah some people call Randy Lerner Deadly Doug the 2nd ... really do wish him luck though. If he brings us half the success that came from the Ron Saunders day then I'd be happy with that. UTV VTID

lol tvrwhitey I call him that, I'll not be singing Randy's praises just yet he still has to do a LOT to redeem himself in my eyes, just hope he gets this appointment right but it's a step in the right direction.
