Two Front Runners & A Mystery Third?!
Of the bookies front runners, which one would you like?

Interestingly the two (press talk) front runners come out on top:
Paul Lambert 36%
Roberto Martinez 23%
Then:
Gus Poyet 20%
Roberto Di Matteo 11%
Rafa Benitez 10%
So, (yeah, I know... but we have to occupy ourselves some way don`t we?!) our latest poll asks ... straight choice, Lambert, Martinez or neither!
The front runners are interesting, the odds have tumbled for them both,
Paul Lambert 11/8 and Roberto Martinez 7/4
The nearest then is Rafa (who won`t be coming, he just won`t be!) at 12/1.
Mat Kendrick at The Birmingham Mail also says those are the front runners, as well as a possible 'mystery 3rd` (Come on Andre Villas Boas, I`ve got him at 50 to 1 LOL)
He also states Villa hope to have the manager done by this Friday or early next week at the latest.
They had hoped last week but it has obviously proved more time consuming than they had expected. Maybe, for reasons we may never know, they`ve had to wait for certain targets!
Mat says: Martinez`s advisors met with the claret and blues late last week .........contrary to previous reports, Villa have also taken soundings about Norwich boss Lambert.

I will be happy with either of these two managers, i would prefer Lambert but could understand why Randy may opt for Martinez due to prem league experiance etc, but this mystery third may well just be AVB, i said a week ago in the forums my misses brother was in Barcelona and he came across on there media channel AVB would find the Villa job intruiging when asked about the possibilty of becoming Villa manager and wether he would be interested be great if he does fancy us, then 3 days or so ago AVB's agent came out and said wherever AVB managers next he wants a project and to technically advance a club hmmm Villa maybe??
