Villa Manager Race - The Latest Odds

The latest odds for the next Aston Villa manager

Betting thread: Click Here

A few of the odds have drifted, Lambert at some bookies was as low as evens yesterday. Rafa odds have got slightly longer, they were 5/1, I just don`t see Rafa being approached by Villa again.

Di Matteo odds are shortening, they are now 10/1 and were 20/1 at one stage (when I put on a nifty bet!) Brendan Rodgers has drifted out to 50/1... hmmm!?

Strangely some people are still putting money on Ole as his odds have shortened to 16/1 from 33/1. Can`t see it myself! lol

Gareth Southgates odds are also shortening, he was 100/1 at one stage!

Mick McCarthy and Gary Megson are still looking very attractive odds. ;-)

This is absurd. Martinez second favourite and he will be the Liverpool manager tomorrow.

david o'leary has odds?!?! wtf...

David O'Leary IS odd! Lol..... And what do these so called bookmakers base their odds on?.....Is it based on which way the wind is blowing or something scientific. Or, ....... are some of them "ITK"?......

Someone heavily involved with AVFC told me last Thursday that Robin Dutt was on the shortlist ...... he is now 16/1 with bet365 !!

They might as well stick my name on there, given some of the laughable potential candidates.

astonmilan really hope not mate, he should be called Robbin Dudd, he looks like a kebab seller and his record is worse than Mcleish's
AVbornandbred
AVbornandbred ..... when I was told last week i had to google him !! but he finished 5th in the Bundesliga, so no where near as bad as McF.U.C.Knut.

How is Villas-Boas at 25/1!? Some of the people at 33/1 would bite our hands off if we offered them the job. Villas-Boas would tell us to **** off!

This has all rather lost its momentum hasn't it. Its pretty hard to hide an interview these days - Randy couldnt even sneak his private, unmarked jet into a random place like Norway without the press getting to know about it! I'm increasingly confident we aren't going to try for Lambert otherwise we'd have done it by now. In fact Im beginning to wonder if we even had a plan B for OGS. I know there's no need to rush, I'm not panicking - you just think interviews would be closer together? Unless you didnt actually have them lined up.
revolutionatlast
not doom-mongering incidentally - just playing devils advocate :)

Shouldnt worry revolutionatlast interviews have been going on its easier to hide a car journey than a plane ride. Villa are understandably keeping their cards close to their chest after the shambles with Martinez last season and rightly so.Doubt Randy Lerner flew in from the states only to speak to OGS (and then only to sound out whether he was interested). Dont think he has spoken to Martinez though or know doubt Whelan would have spread it all over the press by now.
