A reminder that the season ticket price freeze ends May 31st: REMINDER - Season Ticket Price Ends May 31st

Talking about season tickets, here are the poll results for ' Season ticket/attending? ' question: So, You Attending Now 'He's' Gone?

Sir Ian Of Taylor has spoken with www.expressandstar.com calling for a bit of patience. The Villa legend says: 'I think a lot of fans are getting a bit worried but I know the club are fairly relaxed about the whole thing and not rushing it to make sure they get the best man out there,' Full article: We'll Hope - We'll Pray - Please Get It Right AVFC

Wadey: OMG! OGS? NFW! Out of the dark abyss and onto the sunlit uplands of a new age of vibrancy for Villa. That's what they are saying down at headquarters but I am not sure if it is a promise or not. We've just endured the humiliation of a Dunkirk retreat and I suppose we have to expect some Churchillian hyperbole by way of encouragement. Full article: Something For The Weekend (384)

We did a snap poll yesterday asking: The manager? Results: Click Here

I like this report, mostly because I have a tenner on Roberto Di Matteo being our next manager! www.mirror.co.uk seem to have caught up with the rumour that Villa want the Chelsea caretaker manager. According to reports, he hasn`t been told if he will be kept on at Chelsea yet, some of the London press are saying he won`t be as that arse who helped ruin the Premier League wants Pep Guardiola. Well, this wouldn`t be good! The Daily Star say Villa are battling with Liverpool for Roberto Martinez. Ok, nothing new there. But they also claim that Villa agreed a deal with Martinez last Wednesday and have been 'dismayed` that he then went to talk to Liverpool bosses in Miami. If true, then I would expect Villa to say stuff it and move on surely? Article: Villa Agreed Deal With Martinez? Can't Be Right!

Former Villa manager Ron Atkinson has told The Mirror that it won`t matter who the new manager is IF Randy Lerner doesn`t invest in the team. Big Ron told the paper: 'This is the probably the most threadbare Villa side I can remember in the Premier League and it`s obvious they need players.'
