New Name In The Manager Hat
Domingos Paciencia. No me neither, but he's apparently the former of Braga and it's being reported he has expressed an interest in our vacancy!
Most of us (despite assuming the new man will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with how things have played out) were expecting a few more left field names and today we've got one.
The E&S are today stating that the 43 year has 'expresed and interest' in our managerial vacancy, and again - if true - it seems we are certainly sticking by Paul Faulkner's stated aims of 'vibrancy and reinvigoration'.
Paciencia led Braga to the 2011 Europa League final apparently, and has recently been in charge of Sporting Lisbon, parting company in February after falling well behind Benfica in the title race.
I'm sure those of you who pay attention to the wider football world may know more about the man and the type of football he instills in a team...but with my knowledge I won't pretend to think I can add much more to this.
