Martin Laursen Has A Dream - But Not Just Yet!

Martin Laursen... Villa`s Lionheart... has told www.fifa.com that it would be a dream one day to manage Villa, however not quite yet!

Laursen said: 'That (the speculation) is flattering but it is too soon for me, I'm afraid." Explaining 'I'm taking my coaching badges in Denmark and coaching at Sollerod to get some experience. It is going well but to manage Villa is too early. In the future, that would be a dream for me. Fans know how much I love Villa, a great club.'

Sky have similar quotes 'It is going well but to manage Villa is too early. In the future, that would be a dream for me. Fans know how much I love Villa, a great club.'

Laursen is also currently doing some blogs on the Villa`s official site. His current one: Click Here says that Stephen Ireland could become our Paul Scholes.

Maybe in 12 months time after the next manager has been hounded out by rabid fans again.

Tut, tut deano...... we only hound out turds, you should know that. I certainly wouldn't call OGS or Lambert that. I do believe Lerner has learnt his lesson. Anyway, Laursen will be welcome when the next opportunity rises - and I doubt it will be in 12 months.

Would love to see him as part of the coaching staff when whoever it is get's announced as the new manager. He'd be a great addition and if the opportunity arises in the future we'd have a ready made replacement without any of this circus!
