Vital Villa Player Of The Season Award

Vital Villa Player Of The Season Award

So I asked, after looking at who had won all the individual man of the matches last year then selecting just the ones I considered in real contention for the season, as opposed to the ones who started brightly and then sulked off.

So here it is, the one and only Vital Villa end of season award this year (for obvious reasons, we usually do a whole host but most of us want to forget last season I think?!)

Player Of The Season For Villa?

Shay Given with a massive: 81%

pointing
saving
Given kicking

The other two contenders:

Stiliyan Petrov 10%
Stephen Ireland 8%

Could really only have been Shay couldn't it? And by a massive percentage as well. Cheers Shay, think you kept us up personally!

Bent kept us up last year, Shay kept us up this year! He deserves this! That save against West Brom! How vital was that? Thanks Shay!
