Well, it was time to unsticky: Get Well Soon Skipper - Best Wishes To Petrov

I didn`t want to just do it without comment though.

We felt the end of the season was the right time to let it drop but the Villa skipper remains in all of our thoughts (and for those that way inclined, prayers) I`m sure.

And I know, through a mutual friend, he has REALLY appreciated the support, the wishes and the 19th minute applause. I am quite sure that will return next season and should continue until he is back in our claret and blue shirt where he belongs.

Well said Mr. Fear. And I agree it would be great to keep the 19th minute applause until he's back in a Villa shirt. He's never out of our thoughts.

Lovely photos. Lovely man. Villa has really missed you in our side and it will be wonderful to have Stan back in the middle next year. I hope he can recover really well.
