Here is a plan. If Randy puts £5m on Capello at 25/1 to be the next manager than means we can get rid of McLeish, sign Capello on £6m a year and still have £100m+ left for a transfer kitty!!! Now that would be clever business ;-)

I would forget about getting Rodgers,Lambert etc why leave a safe seat for a club that needs a vast playing staff overhaul with no money to spend. The sort of manager we will probably end up looking at is Curbishly did a good job at Charlton for many years on a shoestring budget and an ex Villan cannot see bright young managers comming to Villa Park at the moment given the financial constrictions.
