Peter Withe Wants To Make Villa Great Again

Peter Withe Wants To Make Villa Great Again

Not much in the player transfer gossip column today but manager wise...

Peter Withe says in the www.sundaymercury.net that he`d like the job and he`d put Villa back to where they belong.

I`m just in the process of hopefully organising an interview with the man with the golden shin, more of that next week if I can get it sorted.

Peter says: "If the opportunity to manage Aston Villa came up I would grab it with both hands and I know I would be able to put that club back where it belongs."

Would be lovely to have a proper Villa set up manager wise eh!? I always liked that about John Gregory, you could tell he`d bleed for the team. We might not be able to win the league now (sadly) so lets at least have someone we like!

That said, a good mate of mine was at Wembley yesterday for the FA Cup final and I did ask him to bring back Robert Di Matteo.

Deal or no deal?!?!?!

Heard him on Keyes and Gray recently, very entertaining. I understand he's going to work for a club in Stockport. Great Villan, great character. Wish him the very best of luck.
