Ireland's Back, But Albrighton Is Out

Healthy, happy injury news ahead of Spurs...Stephen Ireland returns, James Collins wants to Gatecrasher the first team, but Albie's season is over.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, McLeish gave us a breakdown on our broken players.

Starting with our Player of the Year, Eck said:

'Stevie has had a good week in training and has looked sharp. It's been great to see from Stevie. He is clear of the niggly injuries he had in his knee and his hip now.'

As for our 30 year old Welshman:

'James trained for the first time in a week. He was on the bench last weekend but that was more of a calculated gamble. He trained well on Friday.'

He looked up for it on Tuesday?

As for Marc Albrighton though, his season is over:

'Marc is an injury problem just now. It's his thigh, it's two or three times this season he's had that. I think it's his season over - it could be. It's just slightly more than a grade one thigh strain which is enough to keep him out for three or four weeks.'

No great loss with Albie out. Glad Ireland is back though.
