The Heskinator Has Been Tremendous

Alex McLeish has praised Emile Heskey's performances over the last two games and described him as being 'tremendous' for us.

Speaking to the Official Site McLeish Heskey for his work rate against Bolton and Albion and has said he more than deserves to find the back of the net as a reward for his effort recently.

'I think he's been tremendous in the last couple of games. It would be good to see the big guy get a goal for all the hard work he's done. It would be a great reward. I am sure he can do that for us too.'

Fair do's, for most of the season Heskey has been experimented on with a daft midfield role, but I agree completely that it would be nice for the striker to strike and score in one of our final games of the season. Just something nice about seeing a striker score really.

Hes been half decent for two games. Well done emile, enjoy your wages. Sucking the club dry this lot.

You've got to do more than work hard and flick long balls on to give yourself a chance of scoring. One of Eck's fatal flaws. He thinks that by throwing someone in an area that you'll score sooner or later, just because.

Being as he's scored only 9 goals in 90+ appearances I won't hold my breath...

He's surprised me in the last couple of games. Be even more surprised if he actually scored........

Ams78 sums it up ... 9 goals in 90 appearances .... he's not a midfielder and he doesn't score goals .... just not good enough.

Heskey needs the old yella treatment, the glue factory etc he is done and dusted, simple as and if he can't admit it then he needs to be told to feck off.

I'd keep Heskey as a coach, other than that this would be his last game
