Brazilian Defender Linked To Villa

Brazilian Defender Linked To Villa

Transfer talk is in short supply right now, especially as the press now seem to be growing more and more sure that McLeish is off at the end of the season.

However, The Mirror has one link.

They say that Villa are set to bid £7million for FC Twente Brazilian centre half Douglas Franco Teixeira, referred to as just Douglas.

Apparently Newcastle has also been tracking the player and had a £5million bid rejected.

LOL Kuffit i agree Fifa is a better player rating than YouTube lol, What confuses me is how can we be in for players when our current manager is on the verge of the sack? Is this the Board or Faulkner etc pushing for this or is Mcleish going to still be here? Surley no I HOPE.

Can't see us forking out £7m on anyone this summer right now and even if we did, I can't see any reason why anyone already proven but not past it would join us with things as they are. Though, as a defender I guess we could persuade him that he'd get more practise with us than anyone else!

I really do not care about transfers currently i just want to hear Mclueless have been fired or gone with mutual consent

Surely the £7m will go on McLeish's severance? I'd be pretty happy with that frankly if push came to shove

I cant see any truth in this unless, Randy is doing what Newcastle have been and is listening to the scouts not just going by what the manager wants. I honestly cant see this being McLeish's deal, I think he knows that the job is just more trouble then its worth.

My scout on Football Manager recommended that I buy him just the other day haha. That on top of the positive Fifa12 above review surely makes him a must buy?!

Think there has been a bit of confusion with this story, the ACTUAL story is Mcleish is getting a brazilian!
